Programs
The educational objective for Dental Assisting is to prepare the student to be a capable and skillful entry-level assistant to the dentist. Emphasis is placed on the guidelines of the State Board of Dental Examiners for Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants. The student will receive theoretical, laboratory, clinical instruction in the advanced techniques and skills delegated by law to the Registered Dental Assistant along with preparation in traditional dental assisting responsibilities.
The educational objective for Medical Assisting is to prepare the student to be capable and skillful entry-level assistant to the doctor. The student will receive theoretical, laboratory, and clinical instruction in administration and clinical office procedures to be competent at an entry-level in a variety of medical environments.
The educational objective for Massage Therapy is to prepare the student to be a capable and skillful in multiple styles of massage therapy in preparation for an entry level position. The student will receive theoretical and clinical instruction in general and special population therapeutic massage, anatomy, and kinesiology.
